In Summer of 2022, I had the pleasure to travel to Mexico by a cruise ship.
Despite a fear of large bodies of water, I traveled on the ship for six days.
I was completely surrounded by water.
There was not a single Chick-Fil-A in sight!
Whenever I would look out of the cruise deck, all I could see were ocean waves for miles completely covering what was ahead of me, beside me, and behind me.
While on the ship, I had no other option than to be in an environment where I was completely surrounded by something bigger and more powerful than me.
Can I share something with you?
If you want to create effectively, it is important to stay in an environment where you are completely surrounded by the one who is powerful over all, The Creator, God.
The Bible shares with us in John 10:10 that the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy.
And, if you have made the decision to create this year, the enemy, Satan, is going to try everything he has to try to steal, kill, or destroy the very thing God has given you the permission to create.
Thankfully, John 10:10 also says the Lord Jesus came, so you may have life and have it to the full!
God knows the right plans for you.
God's plans are to prosper you, not harm you.
God's plans consists of giving you hope and a future.
If you are reading this post, it is not by accident, even if a friend shared this with you.
I want you to read this next sentence very clearly:
If you want to create effectively, make sure you intentionally surround yourself with God.
Get involved in church intentionally.
Be a part of a faith based tribe of group intentionally.
Pray intentionally.
Fast intentionally.
Worship intentionally.
When you are surrounded by God, you are covered on all sides.
Spending time in God's presence keeps you surrounded.
When you are surrounded by God, there is no attack from the enemy that will take you out because the power of God is completely over you!
