EMPOWER HER BLOG: How Deep Is Your Love?

How far are you willing to go?

What risks are you willing to take?

These are the questions that recently came to my mind as I meditated on God’s word.

As a believer in faith, I am often reminded of the blessings that come by being a child of God.

However, I must admit I seldom consider the opposition that can occur as I am also a follower of Christ.

Making the decision to follow Christ is deciding to live a life that reflects Christ!

With this in mind, this decision will also come with trials, or situations that will be challenging.

”I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”- John‬ ‭16‬:‭33‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The good news is Jesus has already overcome any trial we may encounter!

The more we level up in faith it will require for us to go deeper in faith.

When we face a trial or situation that is challenging, we can also remember it’s to level us up in our journey!

”Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.“- ‭‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭2‬-‭3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

As you and I move forward, let’s make the decision to keep a mindset of people who have already overcome.

Let’s keep an attitude that every setback is a set up for something greater in our lives!

We are not defeated, we are overcomers!

Can I pray for you and your journey?

Heavenly Father, thank you for Jesus! Thank you for sending Jesus to be a great example. When my friend faces a trial, help them to remember Jesus. May Jesus example help navigate them to grow closer to you, in Jesus name we pray, Amen!
