For years, I endured the trauma of sexual assault—an experience that could have broken me completely. In the midst of that pain, I also struggled with homosexuality, battling an internal war that left me feeling lost and conflicted. But even in my darkest moments, God had His hand on my life.
A Journey Through Pain
Through a journey of healing, surrender, and unwavering faith, I have broken free from the strongholds that once kept her bound. I encountered Christ in a way that changed me from the inside out renewing my heart, restoring my identity, and giving me a powerful testimony to share with others.
Out of my transformation, I stepped boldly into entrepreneurship, building a successful virtual assistant company, Thee Luxurious Assistant. I have since expanded my business ventures, aiming to empower others through financial literacy, credit repair, and mentorship. My passion for impact led me to establish Young Kweens, a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting and guiding young women toward success, confidence, and purpose.
Today, I stand as a living witness that God’s grace is sufficient, His love is relentless, and His power is greater than any struggle. My mission is to help others walk in their own freedom, reminding them that no matter where they’ve been, God has the final say.
Encountering Christ: Transformation Begins
Can you share a moment when you felt closet to God? What did the experience teach you?
One of the moments when I felt closest to God was recently during a deep season of surrender. It was a time when I had to fully release control and trust Him completely—when my own strength wasn’t enough, and I had no choice but to lean on Him.
In that moment, I wasn’t just praying out of routine—I was crying out from my soul. And God responded. Not with an audible voice, but with an overwhelming peace that silenced every doubt and fear. I felt His presence so strongly that it was undeniable. It was as if He was reminding me, "I’ve been here all along."
That experience taught me that true intimacy with God comes when we let go—when we stop trying to figure everything out on our own and simply rest in Him. It showed me that He is always near, even when we feel far away. And most importantly, it confirmed that His love is constant, His grace is sufficient, and His presence is enough.
My story is one of redemption, transformation, and purpose. I've overcome deep struggles—pain, trauma, and personal battles—but instead of allowing them to define me, I've used them as a foundation for growth. God has taken the ashes of my past and turned them into something beautiful—my businesses, my nonprofit, my testimony, and the way I inspire others.

Sharing My Story For You
One challenge I’ve faced as a Christian is trusting God’s timing when things don’t happen as quickly as I’d like. It’s easy to have faith when everything is falling into place, but when prayers seem unanswered, doors stay closed, or the vision God gave me feels delayed, doubt tries to creep in.
My faith has helped me through this by teaching me that God’s timing is always perfect, even when I don’t understand it. Every time I’ve felt stuck or frustrated, God has reminded me that delays are not denials—they are often moments of preparation. When I look back, I realize that had I received certain blessings too soon, I wouldn’t have been ready to steward them well.
This challenge has deepened my trust in God, reminding me that He is faithful and that His plans for me are far greater than anything I could rush or force on my own. Romans 8:28 always brings me peace: "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose."
If you’re just starting out in your faith, give yourself grace, stay rooted in the Word, and trust that God is leading you step by step. He has an amazing plan for your life!

Bonus Faith Nuggets For You
1. Build a personal relationship with God.
It’s not just about going to church or following rules—it’s about truly knowing God for yourself. Talk to Him daily, read His Word, and listen for His voice. Your faith should be personal, not just something you inherit from others.
2. Don’t chase perfection—chase Jesus.
You will make mistakes, and that’s okay. God isn’t looking for perfection; He’s looking for a heart that’s willing to grow. His grace is there to cover you when you fall, but it’s your faith that will keep you moving forward.
3. Surround yourself with godly influences.
The people around you will shape your journey. Find a community of women who encourage, uplift, and push you closer to God. Having godly friendships and mentors will keep you grounded when life gets tough.
4. Learn to hear God’s voice for yourself.
People will have opinions about your life, but at the end of the day, you need to know what God is saying to you. Pray, spend time in His presence, and trust that He will lead you.
5. Protect your purity—spiritually, mentally, and physically.
Purity isn’t just about waiting until marriage; it’s about guarding your heart, mind, and spirit from things that can pull you away from God’s purpose for you. Be mindful of what you listen to, watch, and entertain.
6. Know that God loves you, no matter what.
Nothing you’ve done—no mistake, no struggle, no doubt—can separate you from His love. You don’t have to earn it; you just have to receive it.
7. Be bold in your faith.
The world will try to silence you or make you feel like following Jesus isn’t “cool.” But don’t be afraid to stand firm. Your faith isn’t just for you—it’s meant to be a light to those around you.

Verse of the Day
Isaiah 61:3 (NIV) – "and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes the oil of joy instead of mourning and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.
