Now, I’m sure you know the definition of faith.
Well, the biblical one for the matter!
Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen.
However, when life throws an unexpected curve ball, holding on to hope is not the preferred emotion we would like to express.
The shock of the experience may cause us to be angry, confused, pained, or uncomfortable.
I want you to know it’s okay to feel all of those emotions, but you can’t afford to lose your faith!
Now, let’s be real.
As you read this, I have not the slightest clue of who you are or your exact situation!
I may not have been there when your life turned completely upside down.
What I do know is where you are right now someone is near you who loves you and understands your every pain.
And though you can’t feel Him, He is there and ready to save your crushed spirit.
It is in this moment I urge you to seek Him, the ultimate Him, God!
You see, you don’t need the most elaborate words or structured sentences.
You don’t even have to schedule an appointment for Him to listen.
At the very moment your trembled mouth opens while tears softly flow down your cheeks God understands who you are and what you need.
Don’t fret!
God is all powerful that through His spirit He interprets your pain.
Romans 8:26 states, And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.
All you need is to simply invite God to help you.
Let Him know you cannot handle everything on your own!
As a result, you will begin to feel God’s warm embrace, a peace that surpasses your own.
It will be nothing like you’ve ever experienced!
Your once sadness will soon turn into joy.
Though this peace won’t happen instantly, God’s love will sustain and overwhelm you.
Now, I’m not saying you will forget what happened to you.
There’s an unexplainable joy that God sends to help aide His children and persevere them in life’s most difficult times.
It’s a promise that no matter what He will never leave us or forsake us.
You may wonder, How can I be sure? What if what I am going through is too much?
Has there ever been a difficult time in your life you weren’t able to overcome?
Whether you acknowledge this or not, God has always been there for you.
This situation you are going through maybe worse and downright unfair, but if I may ask you a question.
If God gave you the strength before, what makes you think He won’t do it again?
Is there anything too hard for God?
Grieve, cry, scream at the top of your lungs.
But, I beg you don’t lose your faith!
You are still here on purpose for a purpose.
This moment is meant to grow you, not defeat you.
Though right now doesn’t feel like it, God is there.
Hold on to Him.
Hold on to your faith!
Trust me, I know it’s worth it because I’m holding on with you.
