Have you ever felt like you’re doing all the right things but nothing is happening? It’s frustrating when your prayers, hard work, or obedience feel unseen. But, Romans 8:28 reminds us that all things are working together for your good. Even when you don’t see results yet, all work works.
Sometimes walking by faith feels like doing a lot for nothing. You show up, but you don’t see the fruit.
You pray, but you don’t hear answers. You obey, but the results don’t look like much.
Friend, I’ve been there too.
But, despite how you may feel, here’s the truth: all work works.
About a year ago, I shut down my TikTok shop because I didn’t see results. It felt pointless.
But in prayer, I believe God encouraged me to reopen it.
Was I nervous? Yes.
Did I have the full plan? No.
But, one thing I have learned:
God’s Vision Always Includes His Provision.
Have you ever heard the prophet Elijah story or even the story of Noah?
Let’s just say, I was not surprised when an order came through this week. Friend, what maybe a small victory to others reminded me: when we move in obedience, even without all the details, God is faithful to show up.
Friend, if you’re in a season where it feels like nothing’s working, don’t quit. Trust God’s Word.
Romans 8:28 says, He’s working all things together for your good. Step in obedience, keep building by faith, and watch how God moves.
Sharing My Story For You
The Realest Security? A Word from God.
I believe that sometimes, as believers of faith, we can get so focused on having all the details of the path we’re on. We know many Bible verses. We may be familiar with Bible stories.
But the more we grow in faith, the more we’ll find ourselves having to go through to get to.
What do I mean?
There will be time where we must trust in God despite circumstances, for we know it is He who not only loves us, but also knows our future.
And, if we live according to God's word, all things will work together for our good.
As you’re reading this, friend, may this be your reminder: stop trying to figure out all the details, and instead allow God’s Spirit to lead you every step of the way. The same God who continues to blow my mind will do the same for you.
Verse of the Day
Romans 8:28 (NIV) "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
Your Next Step
Write a prayer to God. On the paper, share the one thing you’ve been holding on to too tightly, or the one thing that’s been hardest for you to release. Be honest with Him about your fears, your worries, or your need for control. Then, ask God to give you the courage to let it go, trusting that His plan is greater than yours.
Prayer Starter:
“Father, I confess that I’ve been holding tightly to ________. I give it back to you today. Teach me to trust You fully and to walk by faith, even when I don’t have all the details. Thank You for loving me and for knowing my future better than I ever could. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
