Wow!!! A new year has come and gone.
Now, we are in the second month of 2021!
Seriously, where did the time go?
Here’s a better question.
How have you been managing?
Listen, I’m not coming on here today to get all up in your business!
However, there is a phrase I would love to share that I believe it is meant for you to hear.
In fact, I am pretty sure the phrase is for you because God repeatedly revealed this phrase to me the closer I came to writing today’s post.
So, if you are still reading, the phrase is definitely for you!
After I reveal this phrase, I am confident you will do one of two things:
• 1. Apply what you have read.
• 2. Not apply.
Whatever choice you make my only prayer is that this phrase and the words that follow will manifest for you in 2021.
Okay, okay, here is the phrase:
Be Still & Know!
I am sure you can agree within the last several months our world has changed.
We have experienced so much uncertainty!
You may even be like me and have experienced loss of a loved one.
Or, you may know someone who has.
How ever you are currently managing the unexpected, I believe I am here to remind you to Be Still & Know.
You see this phrase I am sharing with you is actually a verse that is found in the Bible, Psalms 46:10 to be exact.
It states:
“Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.”
I will admit when God kept showing me this phrase to share I had hope initially He would soon also tell me why.
Well, let’s just say He did not.
In fact, I felt like I waited an eternity!
When I finally understood why Be Still & Know is so important for us to comprehend this year, it came by me taking time to do exactly what I heard: Be Still & Know.
It is in the presence of God where we find refuge.
Spending time in the presence of God made me more intentional to really study and discover the answer was literally in front of my face:
This year we can Be Still & Know because God is our refuge.
And, the best part about Him being our refuge is He’s always ready to help us! ( Psalms 46:1)
Meaning, no matter what we have or will experience this year our greatest comfort can be found through God.
Why is this important?
Like me, Honey Bunches, I believe there will be times this year where you are going to be looking for answers that may be in your face.
With this in mind, I also believe the only way for those answers to be revealed is when you decide to Be Still & Know.
In other words…
The peace you may need will come when you Be Still & Know.
The love you may need will come when you Be Still & Know.
The faith you may need will come when you Be Still & Know.
The key to unlock wisdom’s door is through one’s submission of asking the Creator, God.
Honey Bunches, we cannot afford to move forward into the new year haphazardly.
We do not even have to navigate alone!
James 1:5 states,
If you need wisdom, ask our generous God and He will give it to you. And He won’t rebuke you for asking!
I believe the very things we need to manifest our purposeful vision will come when we take time to Be Still & Know!
My prayer is this Be Still & Know phrase will benefit and encourage you to make intentional time with God this year.
May every thing He reveals you use as tools to live bold and confidently in purpose!
