EMPOWER HER BLOG: God, Are You There?

Have you ever wished there was a direct line to heaven?

You may have dreamed whenever you picked up the phone immediately access would be granted to hear from God.

Or, this direct line could give you the very audible voice of God with encouragement for you to do the very thing that you should do in any situation.

Well, today I have good news for you!

Believe it or not , the Bible is your direct line to God voice.

There’s a specific passage in the Bible Jeremiah 33:3 where the Bible simply says,

‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’

I get it.

I understand that there are times where you want to hear God as clear as perhaps a friend or a family member.

Well, let me encourage you with something I have and am continuing to learn.

'All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.' 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Believe it or not the Bible is God‘s voice!

Whenever you open up the Bible, you are learning the character and the nature of God!

Think about how you are able to learn your family members or a new friend.

The more you spend time with them you begin to learn their characteristics, their nature.

You learn who they are and who they are not.

My friend, hearing God through the Bible is the same way!

Because all scripture is inspired by God, anything that aligns with God’s word, His character, His nature, that is God speaking to you!

Today, my encouragement is for you to take time to learn how you can hear from God.

Take time to begin reading in the Wisdom Section and Gospel Section of the Bible. (Comment below if you need help finding these sections :)

Open up the Bible, so you can get that direct line to your Creator, God!

Heavenly Father, God, on this day, I pray for my friend reading as they have the desire to hear from you. Your word let us know in 2 Timothy what we hear that aligns with your word is your voice! I pray as my friend here reads the Bible, they will begin to gain the knowledge of who you are and your character! You are good and loving. As they move forward, may they grow stronger in faith. As your word also says, faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. Whenever they hear your word God, I pray that their faith will grow stronger in your son Jesus name I pray, Amen.
