Have you ever been at a loss for words?
You knew how you felt.
However, the words to express your emotions to someone could not seem to form!
The thing I love as a child of God is even when we don’t know what to say, God still hears us.
In Romans 8:26, we are informed, "In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans."
In other words, when we are sad, The Holy Spirit intercedes for us.
When we are hurt, The Holy Spirit intercedes for us!
When we do not have any words to say, The Holy Spirit intercedes for us!
The word intercede simply means to intervene on one’s behalf.
When Jesus left this world, He promised to leave an advocate, The Holy Spirit, for us.
John 14:16-17, "And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever -the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you."
The good news is The Holy Spirit still exists to this day!
So, when you do not know what to say, know that there is one within you advocating for you to God.
The Holy Spirit is also that voice within you helping you to be aligned with God's word.
You know those moments where you feel like 'Something told me to..'
That's The Holy Spirit.
He's got your back, friend!
Allow Him to help and lead you to God as you grow stronger in faith.
