If you ever ask God, “God, Why this?”, keep reading.
The reality is that at some point most people have asked the question.
On the other hand, not all people who ask will move forward with the same perspective!
When a person asks “God, Why this?”, the question usually comes when a situation is beyond the person’s control.
Usually, the person is at a point where life has brought some type of unexpected or undesirable situation hoping God will hear them.
The thing is today I want you to gain the confidence to move forward in faith, even when life has brought you a “God, Why this?” type of situation!
Because the one thing that is guaranteed in life as God’s children are trials.
Jesus shares in John 16:33 that we will face many trials.
He shares further good news is no matter how tough or undesirable a situation maybe we have a guaranteed victory through Jesus!
So, you may wonder, "Well, what do I do in the meantime?"
When you are faced with a “God, why this?” kind of circumstance be prepared for an elevation of faith.
'Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.' James 1:2-4
Allow the uncomfortable circumstance to mature your faith!
Meaning, what you are experiencing is present to grow you up as believer of faith.
Think of it as a greater level of patience.
A greater level of self-control.
A greater level of faith!
And, if you need wisdom or help, ask God.
'If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.' James 1:5
You can simply say, "God, this sucks. This is frustrating. I am upset and I don't know why this is happening and I need your help. I don't know how to move forward. I believe you can help me when I ask you. I know you can."
What you are experiencing is to level you up in faith for the purpose of bringing God glory.
Because when people know what you have gone through, they will know that there have to be a God working through you.
Instead of focus on "God, why this?", try this instead:
Move forward in confidence knowing you are guaranteed a victory through Jesus.
Move forward by allowing what has come is strengthen your faith.
Move forward knowing this uncomfortable circumstance will not last forever, joy is coming.
And, that's Bible! (Psalms 30:5)
You got this, friend!
