EMPOWER HER BLOG: Life Gets Sweeter!

Have you ever had your heart set out on baking a cake?

You take time to get your eggs room temperature.

Once your eggs are set, you mix your dry ingredients and wet ingredients in a mixing bowl.

Then, you proceed to pour your cake mix in a greased pan.

Shortly after, you place your mixture in the oven.

After forty minutes to an hour has passed, you take your cake out of the oven and set it on the stove to cool for eating.

Time has passed and you slice your cake for eating.

At the first bite, you discover something is missing!

The cake has no sugar.

A cake without sugar just doesn’t fully satisfy the joy of having a cake, right.

Friend, in this life, I believe this could also be said about living life without applying God’s word!

There are things we want to enjoy in life, right?

A nice family, career, finances, relationships, etc.

However, if we don’t take the time to apply the key ingredient, God’s principles, to our lives we will find ourselves always missing something vital!

Friend, when was the last time you took a deep dive in the Bible?

Do you remember the revelation you gained?

Joshua 1:8 shares, ‘Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.’

As your friend in faith, I want you to enjoy the full experience of life!

Most importantly, God does!!

Friend, God has so many good plans for your life.

Today, make the decision to not go another day with applying the key ingredient, God’s word to your life.

Apply God’s word to your marriage and see how your marriage gets sweeter!

Apply God’s word to your career and see how your career gets sweeter!

Apply God’s word to your finances and see how your finances get sweeter!

Whatever area of your life where something feels a little bit off, apply God’s word and watch it get sweeter!

Psalms 34:8, ‘Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.’

Heavenly father, God, on this day, thank you for your goodness! You are the Creator of all things, including the Creator of my friend reading this post. God, I ask that you will help my friend to apply your word in their life. God, you have good plans for them. May my friend experience your goodness, so it will bring glory to you and sweeter experiences in this life in Jesus name, amen!
