EMPOWER HER BLOG: One Thing You Need!

Before you take off on any roller coaster in the world, an attendant makes sure you are secured properly with a seat belt.

Because the attendant understands what it takes for you to fully enjoy your journey ahead!

I believe in life God can be described like an attendant.

God understands our journeys as well as our excitement to get from one place to another.

It is safe to say that God also knows every minor detail of the route we will take to have successful trips!

As a result, like a seat belt, God has his word, the Bible, we can use as a source of protection in life.

As you read this friend, how often are you being secured by God’s word?

This is the question I’ve had on my mind recently.

I am sure you too can relate that making the decision to follow Christ is an interesting journey!

Similar to a roller coaster ride, there will come unexpected twists, turns, drops and lifts.

However, the support of the seatbelt calms all fear no matter how wild your body may sway 😄

God’s word is the tool you can use to keep you secured in life.

Friend, this is a time and season for you to not go a day without God’s word.

Joshua 1:8 NIV, 'Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.'

You can even start today!

Make the commitment for the next few days and weeks to come by starting your morning being secured with God’s word.

Perhaps, start with one verse to read or chapter in the book of Psalms.

You will be surprised how much more amazing your journey in life will be!

Heavenly Father, God, I thank you for my friend who is reading this post. I pray they would keep your word where ever life takes them. May your word keep them secured. May you continue to protect them and lead them on this journey in Jesus name, Amen.
