EMPOWER HER BLOG: Your Greatest Example!

Hey there, Friend!

When you were younger, who did you look up to?

Was the person a family member?

Did a teacher or celebrity inspire you?

What was it about that person to made you look up to their example?

When it comes to an example worth following, can you agree that we can be so grateful we have Jesus?

Our Lord and Savior, Jesus, lived a life consistently following God’s plan no matter what He faced in life.

Because of Jesus’ example, we too, can be inspired to look at Him throughout life’s transitions.

The good and not so good…

..There is nothing we can face where we cannot find a solution through Jesus!

Can I get an amen?

As I write this to you, Friend, I want to share something that has inspired me through Jesus' example.

“One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God.” - Luke‬ ‭6‬:‭12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“After leaving them, he went up on a mountainside to pray.” - Mark‬ ‭6‬:‭46‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The scriptures you read are only two of the many times Jesus prayed to God.

Jesus made it a point to consistently seek God because He knew that God had a perfect plan for Him to fulfill in this life!

Friend, no matter who you are or where you’ve been I want you to know that God, The Lord, has good plans for you!!

In order for you to experience those good plans, it is vital that you spend time with God.

In fact, I’d like to share something I believe God has been inspiring me to do.

On this day, take a moment to reflect on an area where you need an example from Jesus.

No matter how big or small.

You can start with prayer!

Then, believe by faith that God will not only hear you, he will answer with the very thing you need.

God on this day, I thank you for who you are! I come humbly to you for you are all powerful and ever gracious to your children, including the one who is reading this prayer. God, I also thank you for Jesus. Because of Jesus, we are able to have a great example! We can follow Jesus' example to navigate any circumstance in life. Finally, I pray for your child who is reading this prayer. God, they need you! I pray that this week you will speak to them, may you show them an example through Jesus’ story to help them find the solution that they need. May your solution lead to plans to bring hope in a future! Thank you for listening to this prayer and answering it according to your perfect wheel in Jesus name, Amen!
