I remember when God told me to start my business..all I had was my cell phone. But then, God did something that completely blew my mind.

At the time, I had been praying and fasting because I had a deep desire to simply help women. I didn’t know exactly how I would help them, but the way my heart and spirit were stirred, I knew it was from God.

So, I went on a 21-day prayer and fasting journey, just asking God for help. I didn’t have many people in my family, if any, who had started their own business. I didn’t have resources or connections. The only thing I had was my cell phone. I didn’t know exactly what I was doing, but I had this idea that kept stirring in my heart, and I knew it had to be from God. So I knew I needed His help.

After those 21 days of prayer and fasting, I started seeing videos online about people launching their own online businesses. I remember thinking, “God, I would love to do that.” Shortly after, I simply made a post on my Facebook page that said, “I’m just waiting on my MacBook Pro 13-inch.”

Not even a week later, someone donated a brand-new MacBook to me…for free.

My mind was blown.

At the time, the value of that MacBook was over $1,500, and I didn’t even have that much in my bank account. The person literally came to my apartment with their significant other, chatted with me for a bit, and right before they left, they said, “You know what? We believe God wants us to bless you with this.”

Sharing My Story For You

I’m sharing this to encourage any woman who may not come from wealth, who may not even know how to start a business, but who has simply received a word from God.

Friend, if you have a word from God, there is nothing impossible for you. All you have to do is trust, believe, and apply faith-filled action toward the vision God has placed in your heart.

Trust me when I say this: You will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

And how do you see it? Simple, obey. Don’t hesitate.

Don’t be afraid. When Heaven backs you, you will see God’s promises come to pass.

God is a promise-keeping God. It reminds me of the story of Noah. When God promised Noah that He would never again flood the earth, He placed a rainbow in the sky as a sign of that covenant. To this day, God has kept that promise. There has never again been a flood that wiped out humankind.

That same promise-keeping God who was faithful to Noah will be faithful to you.

All you have to do is simply trust and believe.
