Life Nuggets: This Vegan Pancake Recipe Will Be Perfect For Sunday Brunch!

Since you were a child, I am sure you’ve heard it is important how you take care of your body.

As believers of Christ, it is certainly no different!

“Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NLT

Like you, I was taught the benefits of taking care of my body and recall such sayings as you are what you eat!

Here recently, I’ve been including plant-based meals into my diet and discovered this tasty pancake/waffle recipe.

I was so excited to use my mini waffle maker my sister, Shana, gifted me with after a trip to Walmart😆

This simple recipe can be great for anyone…LIKE ME…who is just starting off on a Vegan lifestyle!

Ingredients ✨

2 Cups of Your Favorite Pancake Mix *Best w/Bisquick*

1 Cup of Almond Milk

1 Teaspoon of Ground Cinnamon

1/4 Cup of Fresh Blueberries

3 Chopped Strawberries

Olive Oil (Country Crock Plant Butter w/Olive Oil is🙌🏾)

Step 1

Preheat skillet.

Step 2

While your skillet gets hot, mix pancake mix, almond milk, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl until well blended.

Step 3

Grease preheated skillet with your preferred olive oil. Pour mix on to skillet. Then, add a few blueberries on top of mix. Wait about 2-3 minutes and flip pancake. Then, allow the pancake cook for another 2-3 minutes. Then, plate and serve hot.

*Top your pancakes with strawberries 🍓, blueberries 🫐 , it both drizzling your favorite maple syrup on top* YUM!
