God answers us in three ways: Yes, No, or Wait.
As a young girl, my Mama had a famous saying she would tell me.
Every time she would say it she would be so confident and firm.
As an adult, I now understand she wanted to make sure I not only learned the importance of trusting in God.
She wanted to make sure I knew waiting for anything good must come with patience.
The saying would go something like this, “God answers us in three ways: Yes, No, or Wait”.
When she would share this truth to me I could never allow myself to fully comprehend the wait answer.
To be honest, it was as if my mind was so guarded toward the idea that God would make us wait.
Recently, I was reminded of her famous saying.
Good things comes to those who wait, stay committed, and keep a heart of expectancy!
As I’m allowing God to help me build this platform, Empower Her, I admit there are times when I want to take breaks.
And, if I can be real I some times question my ability to consistently write.
My truth is I am confident in my writing capabilities.
I enjoy entertaining and sharing stories with my words.
The thing is I’ve always had an issue with staying committed to my dream: being a full time writer.
In the past, I would find myself so excited in the beginning to go so hard for an idea.
Then, I would stop due to boredom or not seeing the results I thought I should see.
Here recently, I was exposed to something new.
I was examining this website and stumbled across the analytics.
In my mind, I was excited to see the blog has a great following in my state.
I felt God tell me to keep scrolling.
To my surprise, I was shocked to see the different countries and consistent followers this platform has every week!
Before creating this platform, I prayed that God would use this platform to bring others to Him.
In the beginning, I felt I wasn’t getting anywhere and was unsure if I should keep continuing.
After seeing how He is working through this blog, I’m not sure where this blog is going, yet I’m confident this blog will help bring freedom to many.
Waiting Nuggets
Not every thing we see or want is for our good now!
Every one has dreams. Some of us get the yes quickly.
Others may get a no and follow something totally against what we imagine.
There a few of us who will be told to wait through the process.
When it comes to this surrender life, hearing a wait may not be the answer we want to hear.
We may some times feel what we do isn’t good enough compared to what we see from others.
Let me remind you: Don’t worry about every one else’s dreams.
Keep focused on what God has revealed to you!
Trust me, if you keep God in your dream, it will flourish at the right time.
