We Share To Empower: Charged Up

Answer This:

When you notice your phone battery is low, what is your initial reaction?

Without you even speaking or commenting I am confident I already know your answer 🙂

You are going to make sure to find the nearest outlet to charge your phone!

Why? Because your phone is how you stay connected, right?

Your phone gives you the freedom to connect with who you want…when you want.

Ok, I have another question for you!

How about when you feel low?

What is your initial reaction, so you can recharge emotionally? Spiritually?

What do you choose to connect to?

Now, I am not sure how you may respond.

Seriously, I am not even confident what your answer may be!

You may choose to recharge by going for a walk, phoning a friend, or doing something else.

In fact, all of the above are great ways for you to get a boost of positivity when you are discouraged.

If I can be honest, I have done all three!

However, my mindset has changed since intentionally living this surrendered life with Christ.

Whenever I feel not as valuable, I have learned that it is best to find a connection that comes from a reliable source.

Meaning, what if the weather is too bad for you to go outside and walk?

What if your friend is not available to talk on the phone when you really need them?

What if the one thing you are used to initially relying on when you are feeling bad is not available.

A connection with God is a reliable source.

“Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.” Deuteronomy 31:8

When you do not have access to a charger for your phone’s low battery, your will eventually phone shut down because it loses its power.

Honey Bunches, as a follower of Christ, you have access to power through Jesus!

You don’t have to shut down because of how you feel.

Get charged up by listening to some worship music!

Get charged up by speaking the promises of God over you!

Get charged up by letting God know how you feel!

A connection with God is a strong connection.

Stay connected!
