What If God Really Is Who He Says He Is? | Empower Her Blog

Woman waiting, while trusting in God.
Woman waiting, while trusting in God.

  • This blog is for the girl who’s still waiting on her ‘God did it’ moment but hasn’t stopped believing.

There was a time in my life where I could barely name more than one thing I was grateful for.

It wasn’t because God wasn’t good.

I just hadn’t experienced Him for myself yet not in the way people talked about during testimony time. You know those moments?

Where someone stands up and says, “God healed my body,” or “God came through when I didn’t have a dime”? I used to hear those stories and silently wonder:

“God… will I ever get to say that too?”

And now I write this blog post with tears in my eyes… because I am that testimony now.

I’m in a season where I look around at my life and I’m genuinely grateful in every area. Not because it’s perfect, but because God has answered prayers I used to whisper through tears.

He’s been showing up in quiet ways, big ways, unexpected ways in things I used to only hope for.

Sharing My Story For You

And so, I want to write this for the girl who’s still waiting.

The one who’s still fasting.

Still writing the vision.

Still trying to believe based on someone else’s story.

You’re wondering if God will ever show up for you.

You’ve been watching, hoping, praying… but no doors have swung open...yet.

Let me tell you this:

God is faithful.

And I believe the turning point for me, and maybe for you starts with one decision:

To bet on God.

Not because you have proof.

Not because you’ve “arrived.”

But simply because… what if God is who He says He is?

What if He really does open doors no one can shut?

What if He really does love you with an everlasting love?

What if He’s already writing your testimony… even now?

If you’re serious about experiencing God, start here:

  • Be honest with Him. Say, “God, if You’re real, show me.”

  • Get in your Word. Learn His character.

  • Plug into community: hear how others are applying His truth.

  • And most importantly, don’t just study...apply it dailyWith expectation. With faith. With a heart that says, “God, I trust You even before I see it.”

Because one day, you’ll look up and realize:

The very prayers you once whispered have become your reality.

Verse of the Day

Psalm 107:1, “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.”

Psalm 34:1, “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”
