When You Don't Know What's Next, But You Know God | Empower Her Blog

The person you are desiring to be is on the other side of your decision right now to be committed to taking the necessary steps to get there. To see results it's more than just belief in God. You know His power. You know His authority. But are you willing to take steps in His process?
Right now, I’m in a time and season of my life where I know what’s behind me. I’m tempted to go in directions on my left and on my right, but I’m being pulled forward by the path before me.
Just like in the Psalms where it says, “His word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path,” I’m being directed and guided by my Heavenly Father.
Not long ago, I made a decision to accept His free gift of salvation, and I’ll be honest, that was a hard decision to make. I’ve made many mistakes, and to be saved by His grace from everything in one moment of just accepting Him? I’m forever grateful.
I’ve tried to do things my own way, but every time I do, I will find myself at the same disappointing point. I no longer have the desire to be disappointed anymore. I know who God is, and I believe in His power.
As of right now, I’m on a journey of just trusting Him.
I believe God is really powerful and He can do all things, good things.
And the more that I follow Him, the more God proves all things work out together for good.
Sharing My Story For You
I’m sharing this with you as you may be reading to know that you’re not alone.
I’m on this journey too, of just walking by faith, not really knowing exactly what’s going to happen. But I’m hopeful, because I believe this powerful God is really who He says He is.
And if He is who He says He is, then I know things will be more than all right.
Verse of the Day
Psalm 119:105 (KJV) “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”
